Cloud Solution Architect

We are seeking a seasoned Cloud Solution Architect to lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable and innovative cloud-based solutions. As a Cloud Solution Architect, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our cloud strategy, enabling digital transformation, and delivering cutting-edge solutions to meet business needs.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into cloud-based architectural designs
  • Design end-to-end cloud solutions that align with business objectives and leverage the capabilities of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Develop architecture blueprints, design patterns, and solution frameworks for various projects.
  • Provide technical leadership in guiding the selection of appropriate cloud services, technologies, and tools.
  • Evaluate existing applications and recommend strategies for migration to the cloud.
  • Lead the implementation of cloud-based applications, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
  • Define and enforce best practices for cloud architecture, security, and governance.
  • Conduct regular reviews and assessments of cloud solutions to identify optimization opportunities.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure adherence to architectural standards and guidelines.
  • Stay updated with the latest cloud trends, services, and best practices.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to technical teams, sharing expertise and knowledge.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and contribute to pre-sales activities, including proposal creation and client presentations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven track record of 8-10 years in cloud architecture and solution design.
  • Expertise in designing and implementing cloud solutions using major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Strong understanding of cloud architecture patterns, microservices, containers, and serverless computing.
  • Proficiency in designing for scalability, availability, security, and cost optimization in the cloud..
  • Experience with cloud migration strategies and hybrid cloud deployments
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to tackle complex technical challenges.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders
  • Cloud certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Azure Solutions Architect are desirable
  • Experience in mentoring and guiding technical teams.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud security best practices and compliance standards.
  • Ability to lead and contribute to technical discussions and design reviews.
